Accessories for Hire & Sale
SLD has a range of accessories for both hire and sale
from hose and cable to specialist fittings and fully bunded fuel tanks. These are
all available throughout our depot network.
- Hose - A complete range of suction
and discharge hose is available from 2" to 12" to compliment all of ranges. These
are normally fitted with Bauer fittings or can be supplied with all common flanges.
- Specialist Fittings - All of our locations can offer a comprehensive selection
of bends and fittings for all applications.
- Cable - BS6007 rubber trailing cables
are available from 6mm 5 core to 240mm single core. This cable is either Ceeform,
Power-Lok or Spade Lug connected depending on size.
- Distribution Boards - A complete
range of distribution boards is available with any combination of sockets/connections.
These boards meet all relevant safety requirements and comply with industry standards.
- Starters and Float Switches - To provide a high grade installation we have available
a wide range of pump starters, generally in weatherproof enclosures. Very large
pumps usually have starters designed to reduce the inrush current on startup and
its effect on other equipment.
- Invertor Drives - To compliment our full range
of starting equipment we have available AC invertor drives. Housed in IP54 enclosures
they have the ability to vary the speed of a motor and hence the flow, bringing
remarkable energy savings by optimising the flow according to varying requirements.
- Switch Gear - Automatic changeover switches are standard fleet items from 100
amps to 2000 amps. These will transfer supply from generator to generator or from
mains to generator.
- Water Tanks - We offer a range of specialised tanks for water
filtration, settlement and V-Notch for measurement.
- Bulk Fuel Tanks - Fuel tanks
are available from 300 gallons upwards, complying with all relevant standards. Powerent
also offer a complete fuel management service if required.
