De-Watering - Deep Wells / Eductors
Our engineers can determine whether the excavation
is too deep for conventional wellpointing and a two stage scheme is impractical.
In this situation deep wells may be recommended. These are drilled wells and are
spaced further apart and go much deeper. Borehole pumps, or more often Deep well
eductors will be specified by SLD in special situations.

- Borehole Pumps - These slimline electric submersible pump sets
are available in a variety of sizes to suit most applications.
- Deep Well Eductors
- These pumps work using a venturi system and offer the advantages of having no
moving parts in the well. They are often used for scavenging deep dirty holes and
are particularly effective in the control of leachate on land fill sites.
